]]> My nephew recently asked me about smoking pot.  I told him ‘yes’ i had tried it. He asked me what it was like. At this point internally i was kind of freaking out. I didn’t want to promote it or make out like it was a great thing, but at the same time i needed to offer him some truth of my experience. I said to him that it could be a fun thing to try with your friends once or twice, but that for some people who like it too much, they could end up addicted to it and unable to live without it. I said I had also seen some friends go from smoking weed to trying and using other harder drugs regularly, and that this was very sad for me to see my friends wasting their lives away.
